Hello family!!!

SURPRISE P-DAY is today!!!! Yeah yeah yeah! Tomorrow is our Christmas party as a mission and were all going to the mission office for food "talent show" and etc... It's gonna be good. I'm singing with hna erekson "I know that my redemer lives" and then maybe sing "Angels we have heard on high" with Hermana Warwood. She's gonna play flute and me SING AAAHHHHHH!!! that was singing not screaming...haha and so it's gonna be good!

Thank you to everyone that contributed to the package...it came ayer. When the Fedex guy called, my companion picked up the phone and she was tellin me who it was I was like LET'S GO! So we got the package!! Thank you very much!! And thanks to all who contributed!!! I listened to the tape all this morning and probably will again tonight just to hear your voices!

I really do love it here! I LOVE the weather....it's not cold...I bet Brooke would be on the first plane over...I know it gets cold in Utah but GET USED TO IT...you're ONE OF US now.

Getting settled in Fajardo

Yes I'm alive and well!!! I love it here! I'm back and I'm gonna kick butt!! Yes hna Warwood and Fajardo. It's great. People have been tellin me that I have great Spanish...really that's not my problem...it's hearing what there saying sometimes is what gets me. But it's great here I love it!

Gators we have a few... Sunny and Rosa who live next door and sis Warwood said that they truly felt the spirit when they first taught them.

I love it here...and tu sabe que...alot of people speak English..hahaha I LOVE teaching in both.
It felt weird to start contacting in Spanish again, but really a piece of my heart was left here when I went to the islands and now it's back but now a piece is in Barbados...funny how that works.

Gators: We have Stacey Brown and she's cute she has a Bautizmo date for the 6th of dec. ROCK ON!! She told us she'd been lookin for the true church (in my mind i'm thinking YOU FOUND US!!) haha i know i'm funny! Steven Carmichael we tried to reset a date with him and he said he wants to wait til he gets back from Ghana. I was a lil' hurt when I tried to ask him sunday night for a date on the 28th of nov and was knocked down. Oh well I hope i'm here to see that happen if not I know other sisters can do the work and pick up my slack. Alex is doing good. as of last night we've taught him everything. He wants to quit smoking before he's baptized...giving. but he's doing great..just needs a lil' help with prayers.
love you, hermana B

Ward Halloween party '09
All other days I look like this...

Gators, still got about 3 maybe 4 good ones Alex, Steven, Natasha. Alex just needs to read and pray more but he's 19 and doing well. AWESOME!! Natasha last week she was like"you know something we don't do" (and in my mind I'm thinking umm, we pray sing and give lesson, testify...what) she said " when we pray we don't kneel down, so after the lesson were gonna go in the living room and kneel down and pray and I'M gonna say it!!" Wow talk about progress she's teaching us how to do the work!! I love it! And Steven is progressing. I love it!!! Love the work!!!

About your lesson: (sunday school lesson this week on member-missionary work) Tell them to not be afraid: the Lord is on our side, we (as missionaries) might have the planks but really the downlow is with the members when THEY help out and when THEY invite and when THEY testify. Really all we're doing as missionaries is teaching the lessons that they need to be baptized, other then that it's ALOT stronger when members pull their weight!! Like it says in preach my gospel "they don't know where to find it" members really are the best key to converts, gators and missionary work!! Just like the slogan of our late prophet "DO IT"!!

Love hermana B

mi padres
It's warm here. HOT here...it's been raining alot here. I thought yesterday our apt was going to flood. we had water coming up through the tile! I didn't know that could happen.

A blog...wow ROCK on mom!!! It's great i just need to send you my chip right now so you can be up to date!! but it's great thank you so much!

Tell Alex that's awesome, my companions boyfriend is serving there right now...tell him the rules are out the window over there!!! Elder Baron is his name and he's been out for like 2 tranfers now.

Our gators: Alex is a 19 year old boy we found through a member and he's loaded with crock in his mind that we're trying to help him...poor kid. But it's good. Steven Carmichael is the awesome guy who called us saying he'd be interested in the message: is moving along great. Natasha has jumped on the baptismal game but she wants to be married first so after she's baptized she's not sinning. Last night we shared something with her and she LOVED it. It came out of the Liahona and she was like can I read this and then she said i'm gonna read this and then you guys are gonna come back and ask me what I understand and what I learned we were like " wow she's telling US how to do follow up with her" but it was funny she was like after I'm baptized then give me Jesus!!! oh these people here they crack me up!!

St.Thomas for a day

St. Thomas harbor from the airplane as she was
leaving...

New companion Hermana Warwood. Their apt over-looking the St. Thomas harbor. After spending one afternoon in St. Thomas the mission president called and asked if she would go to Barbados, as there was a problem with another sister unable to get visa clearance. You know Alli, "Sure president, when do I leave?"

Leaving San Lorenzo

Packing to leave for St.Thomas

Alli's first companion in P.R., Hermana Castro

Saying good-bye to Deisha, Gerson and those darling girls. Alli got really close to Deisha and her daughters. Notice Alli's tear-filled eyes. What a tender heart.

Dominican Republic M.T.C.

They transferred all Puerto Rico missionary trainees from Provo MTC to Dominican Republic MTC. She said it was beautiful there. The dorms were located right next to the temple. They did get to attend the temple once while they were there.
